Thirteen years fly by, witnessing our unremitting efforts. Setting out the journey in 2011, the Cross-Strait Hospital CEO Forum has been steadfast in its mission of "Building cross-strait collaboration on a shared heritage, leading the new trend in global hospital management”. Drawn by its down-to-earth spirit, tens of thousands of hospital managers from thousands of medical institutions gathered at the forum. Through discussions and exchanges, the best practices in hospital management flourished, and the bonds among compatriots tightened and thrived.

Though having reached a pinnacle, we would never cease to strive higher. On the 10th anniversary of the pivotal assertion, “Prosperity for all is impossible without health for all”, The Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University (SAHZU) joined hands with medical institutions on both sides of the Strait, once again hosting the 13th Cross-Strait Hospital CEO Forum. With ‘A new horizon in universal health’ as the theme, SAHZU focuses on the blooming progress of the Healthy China initiative and aims to navigate hospital advancement with high-quality development. Inviting hospital managers with forward-thinking mindset from both sides of the strait, the forum encourages in-depth discussion about the strategies and plans for enhancing hospital quality and efficiency, building specialty strength and optimizing services, thereby revealing superior ways to enhance the health level of the people.

Notably, this year’s forum features various distinct modules, such as AI and big data governing, medical innovation, patient safety, patient experience, health education and social media. These elements are designed to foster deeper interaction, mutual learning and collaborative advancement among hospital administrators from both sides, while also promoting dialogue and progress among young medical professionals across the strait, building both camaraderie and competence.
