Various innovations and explorations are blossoming everywhere in the nation. Some hospitals tap into the National Medical Center to enhance their capacity to identify and treat uncommon and complex illnesses while others concentrate on clinical research to encourage the development of medical technology. We are fortunate to have a vast network of hospitals, each with unique specialties that compliments one another to accomplish double the results in half the time.
The Second Affiliated Hospital Zhejiang University School of Medicine, along with multiple hospital management organizations and medical institutions on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, launched the "Cross-Strait Hospital CEO Forum" with the theme of "having the same roots and the same origin, working together to lead the global hospital management trend" as part of the spectacular journey of hospital reform, innovation, and endeavor. We have planned and discussed a number of forward-looking themes, including hospital management innovation and evaluation, improving patient medical experience, creating a better medical ecosystem, moving toward value-based medical care, with the goal of sharing leading concepts and compelling cases with the industry so as to improve the accuracy and efficiency of China's hospital management. The conference has become an industry iconic event as its scope and impact have increased yearly.
It just so happens that the 12th Cross-Strait Hospital CEO Forum will take place in Hangzhou, the host city of the 19th Asian Games, on November 23–25, 2023 (Thursday–Saturday). The Asian Games’ motto ‘Heart to heart, @ future’ is a wonderful fit for the forum because it represents the combined efforts of people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. The main event, themed "High Level and Strong Continuity," will challenge medical professionals to reach new heights while continuing to search for ways to improve hospitals, services, and administration.
