Designed to connect strategic vision with practical action, the Conference is organised around six defining features:
- International Perspective
With Hengqin and Macao serving as gateways for international exchange, the Conference will convene hospital leaders and scholars from overseas, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and the Chinese mainland to examine global trends in hospital development.
- Strategic Leadership
Leading hospitals from across China will explore the defining features, development pathways and practical actions required for high-quality hospital development in the context of Chinese modernization.
- Research-Driven Practice
Drawing on both global and Chinese hospital management cases, the Conference will support thematic research, practical outputs and management methodologies that can be applied by hospitals.
- Health and Cultural Experiences
The programme will include healthcare site visits in Macao, a hospital culture and reading initiative showcase, and a health-themed drone performance.
- Two Locations, Integrated Programme
The main conference will be held in Hengqin, with a Macao sub-forum and healthcare visits. The International Forum on Healthcare Excellence will run concurrently at the Hengqin venue.
- Distinguished Contributors
The Conference will invite members of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, leading hospital executives, cross-sector experts, entrepreneurs and international colleagues to discuss scientific progress, governance transformation and value for patients.
